[SOLVED] After Install

Hi everyone,
So I have installed prestashop on 2 servers.. and now that I am running on my own Linux based server, it will not allow me to view the installed SHOP.. Now, I can see the admin menu just fine.. but when I am trying to view the shop.. it comes up to a blank page.. I am no noob at web hosting and programming, but this is stumping me.. do any of you have an idea of what the issue can be?

Have you checked your PHP errorlog? If you don't have access to it, you can edit config/config.inc.php and change 'display_errors' to 'on'. That way, you will get an error message instead of just a blank page. Post the error here.

Done and done,
the error is listed as:

Fatal error: Smarty error: unable to write to $compile_dir '/home/httpd/vhosts/handygreenhouse.com/httpdocs/tools/smarty/compile'. Be sure $compile_dir is writable by the web server user. in /home/httpd/vhosts/handygreenhouse.com/httpdocs/tools/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

I am going to check out the compile folder and see if it is writable or not. 1 sec.
