metteaf
Hi I would like to offer discounts to my customers like Buy two - get one for free! But how can I do that in Prestashop? Untill now I have created a price rule, giving the customer 50 percent off if they buy two or more. But what if I don't want to give the discount when they buy three? And another problem is, that it is not visible on the site that there is a discount - not untill they choose to put two products in the cart. Please, anybody who can help? Best regards Mette
tuk66
Set 50% discount for quantity "started at" 2 and 0% for quantity started at 3.
metteaf
That doesn't work! If I do that, it works like this: 1 piece = 289,- 2 pieces = 289 x 2 - 178 (the discount) = 400,- 3 pieces 289 x 3 = 867,- (no discount at all!) So the price rule started at 3 pieces over rules the one started at 2 which is not logic. But that's how it works. :-(
tuk66
But what if I don't want to give the discount when they buy three? So what do you want for 3 pieces?
metteaf
3 pieces should be: 400 (the price for 2 deducted the discount) + 289 (the normal price) = 689,- And then, if you buy 4 you should get the discount twice and the price would be 800,-
