Color Of Top Container Around Top Horizontal Menu And Such

Hi All,

 

I am in the process of developing a prototype of a new e-commerce site for our company, and although I have learned quite a bit about prestashop over the past month or so I am running into a couple of problems.

 

I am looking to change the color of the container that contains the top horizontal menu, the search bar, and the shopping basket summary. See screenshot (if i can manage to include it!)

 

where is the color of this container controlled? I assume it is in global.css but even using firebug I cannot pinpoint the correct part of the css.

I don't know if I contravened forum etiquette  by posting my question here, but it seemed the logical place.
