tztudio
Problem Changing Product Position I am trying to re-order my products within categories. I have my preferences set to - "default order - position inside category, ascending". When I manually move an item up or down, it temporarily stays there, the position number changes, but as soon as I update the page, everything goes back to it's old position. Anyone have a fix for this? Thank you : )
tztudio
Bumping ... I still have not resoved this issue. Does anyone know of a fast easy way to organize product positions? I ultimately want to type in the position number, and have it automatically move up or down to that position. Is there a way to do that? I have many items, and dragging and dropping to a new position is very time consuming, not to mention half the time it doesn't work.
musicmaster
Usually a matter of position codes in the database: when everything has the same position number you cannot sort. You can try the sort function of Prestools. When you have sorted a category with it it will work again under Prestashop too.
tztudio
Thank you for your reply. You wrote: Usually a matter of position codes in the database: when everything has the same position number you cannot sort. Each item actually has its own unique position number, but the only way to sort in Prestashop right now is drag and drop, and like I said before, that doesn't always work. Where can I find and download the Prestools module? Thank you : )
