Modules Are Not Displayed In The Front Office

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have downloaded a few modules and they have been installed and configured.

While installing these modules they have been transplanted to their default hooks on the product page ("displayFooterProduct hook"). I do want them on the individual product page however they are not showing up in that position. In the live edit option, I can see the names of the modules there yet nothing is displayed.

I'm using version 1.6

Thanks for any help you can give me. ^_^

They are not showing up anywhere. This is the module that is used in the product footer Related Products Simple.

When I run live edit, I only see an empty module in that position.post-1158564-0-40809800-1455091655_thumb.jpg

Since Nemo mentioned the hooks on the default template would be different, I decided to test it out and then reverted back to the theme I'm using. In that the hook was showing up at the bottom of the footer page.

But after the change, there is a layered slideshow on the homepage that stopped working, that is hooked to displaySlideshow.

I'm not sure why this is the case.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue please?

Thanks!

Hey thanks for the reply Nemo!

I have a small correction, in previous post I said it shows up in the bottom of the footer, I meant it shows up below tabs & sheets on the product page.

If the positions are visible in the back office, I would still have to manually add those hooks to the module .tpl?

Hi Nemo,

I did go to add the hooks I mentioned in the module but they already exist there.

And i'm still clueless about the product footer hook. Is there any debugging tips you can give me to test the issue with module? There is another module that works fine in that same position however I had to disable it since I don't require it.
