Changing product image to link to manufacturer's website

Hi,

I am in the process of setting up an affiliate website, so as such am not supplying the products nor taking payment. I have managed to remove the add to cart and checkout. However, still on my to-do list are:-
- change product images to link to the merchant's website when clicked or, if a lot simpler, create a button or just a simple hyperlink to the merchant's website
- remove the cart at the top right of each page
- remove the account setup feature - as I'm not directly supplying the products, there is no point in having account setup
