MelissaAchieve
I have a site where I am selling products through a drop shipper. My supplier uses UPS daily pickup rates. Is there a way that I can set shipping costs per weight? I want to be able to charge a flat fee per lb to ensure that the cost is correct. Would I do this with the carriers section of the site, or do I have to download the UPS module in order to get correct pricing?
tdr170
If you want prices Provided directly from the Shipper UPS you would need the Module, or you can set your own shipping carrier and in the Shipping Carrrier Configuration you can add flat rates per weight ranges. So like this. 0 - 10lbs $5.00 10 - 15lbs $8.00 15 - 20lbs $10.00 Notice that I have not left gaps in the ranges Prestashop uses include exclude for weight ranges. like this: including 0 up to but exluding 10, including 10 up to but excluing 15 and so on, if you leave gaps like this 0-10, 11-15, 16-20 shipping will fail to an out of range behavior. MelissaAchieve
Thanks tdr170! I went to change those ranges and it gave me an error message: "Technical Error Details: Error Thrown [object Object] Text Status: parsererror" Do you know what this means/how I fix it? I can provide a screen shot if need be
