suegal
Hello Just when I thought I was done I have a huge problem, when adding more than one product to the cart the shipping prices go all crazy, any help is deeply appreciated!
tdr170
Did you use a shipping module or create your own, can you post a snap shot of the shipping configuration, Location and cost page.
suegal
I added 2 one for free shipping which works fine and the other with weight ranges, which I have attached a screenshot of, it works if you only buy 1 item, but not if you buy more than I item,
tdr170
I need to see the weight ranges also are they correct and without gaps this is most likely the isssue.
suegal
were you not able to see them in the screenshot? they go like 0 to 1 then 1 to 100 then 101 to 200 then 201 to 300... by the way I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you trying to help me on this, I have had any luck elsewhere andwe were supposed togo live in 2 days. tdr170
No they are cut off all I see is the prices for the ranges but that's OK you answered the question just the same, you have gaps in your ranges. Prestashop uses include/exclude for the weight ranges so they should be set like this example:Weight Ranges: (must not have gaps)0-100lbs100-200lbs200-300lbs300-400lbsWeight ranges are inclusive/exlusive which basically means:From and including 0, up to but excluding 100lbs, from and including 100lbs up to but exluding 200lbs, from and including 200lbsup to but excluding 300lbs, f and so on and so forth. suegal
This seems to have fixed the issue...thanks so much! Since you are obviously well skilled in this area, could you possibly advise on another shipping question? I need to know if there is a way to make Prestashop lower the shipping a little if multiple products are added to the cart, for instance if a product has a $10 shipping fee and the customer wants to buy 2 of them, they should get a break on shipping....thanks again for your time. suegal
please help...prestshop is adding shipping on tax and it should not be, it is also adding tax where it should not be, thanks in advance
suegal
update, I worded the last post wrong, I meant Prestashop was adding tax on shipping (not the other way around) that issue seems to be ok now, the remaining problem is why Presatshop adds tax for every state, when it should only add in one...hoping for a skilled person out there that can offer some help, again thanks in advance
