Prestastore Manager

Recommended Posts

It connects through the FTP client and has now pulled stuff from my store so  that they appear in the Manager, the products which i loaded into it from the supplier are visible in the Manager with the original categories but are not showing in my store. Also the file came with images and the section in the Manger seems to be uploading these.  Since it is now connected to the store i find it odd that the products are not showing there. Also, do you know the file categories from the supplier will map these into my store?

Store Manager connects to PrestaShop database via direct, bridge or HTTP tunnel connection. Please, check what type of connection you use. For that go to Preferences in Store Manager and select Database Connection tab in the left side. Let me know what radio button is checked (see the screenshot)

You have been using embedded database with default data and respectively could not see your products in Store Manager.

As I can see, our support manager had set up store connection to your store and sent you details via email. Now you can manage store data via bridge connection.

Hope everything works well now.

Store Manager allows to create categories, provided in the file, if proper category path is indicated. If you have just category name in supplier file, there will be created category with this name, but no category hierarchy will be preserved.

Although it is possible to set correspondence between your categories and supplier categories by means of special formula called expressions. Here you can find tutorial on expressions - https://www.prestashopmanager.com/useful-articles/how-to/how-to-manage-prestashop-data-in-the-process-of-import-by-means-of-expression/

To create expressions for data modifications, special skills are required.
