Problems with loggin into admin area

Hi all,

Having just done my first installation of presta onto a evohosting solution its gone really well apart form the fact that i can log into the admin area.

I just get a IE 404 error.

Any Ideas??

I think that you dont had received in the installation screen when the prestashop check if supports and all its ok.
You had deleted the insta ll folder?
You had changed the name of the admin folder?

I need more information for help you.

I am having the same problem--the install went fine, every file/folder is on web, store is up, but I get a 404 when going to /admin folder...which doesn't even exist on the server. I made one, and it redirected back to storefront...

I recommend connect with your ftp program and go to the directory.
You need see the folder named as adminXXXX you need change the XXXX for the another name same like this.

admin11111, admin1, or adminConn or some do you wish.
Only when you as changed you can connect.

Is one protection of Prestashop Installation.
