Liliana M
Hi Guys. I just created a new Prestashop site and from my old site (PS 1.6.0.11) I exported the following tables: ps_customer, ps_address, ps_customer_group and I have imported them to the new PS 1.6.1.4 site. The issue is that when the customers try to login, the following error appears "Your authentication has failed." The tables listed above were imported ok through the phpMyAdmin. (Cpanel) I can see all customers in my Prestashop admin. I really appreciate your help. Thank you very much in advance. Liliana
tdr170
I hope you have a backup of the old shop as you need the keys from the settings.inc.php file After changing the keys you will not be able to log in to the BO without adding the old employee table to the new database. Basically copy these lines from the old settings file and paste in the new one root/config/settings.inc.php define('_COOKIE_KEY_', '70cRbIhENo9y4dVCl1BeapeBdKLTC4wcNScH4i6ZQZqbtMvcOuuo30Sb'); define('_COOKIE_IV_', 'S2nZgTq1'); define('_RIJNDAEL_KEY_', '4Qd8vRmuf2UP1tVI5MVYwU07k6KP72Rl'); define('_RIJNDAEL_IV_', 'VpwsjiIgNdQkt151ToYTpM==');
Liliana M
Hi tdr170, You are an angle!! Thank you very much. It worked I just want to say something, the ps_employee (from the old database) must be imported to the new site too. Have a nice day.
