[Solved] Internet Explorer Does Not Display Modules Properly

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to have this written down, someone might find this helpful in the future. This forum helped me a lot by just googling various topics so I want to give something back.

I had several issues with Internet Explorer, some modules were not displayed properly. In other browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera) these modules worked fine. It took me a long time to find the cause of it.

Finally, the error was a general problem with the browser itself, Internet Explorer only loads the first 31 css files when the website is loaded, css files after that are simply ignored! Therefore some modules could not load the css files and were not displayed in the proper way as higher instances were used (e.g. global.css).

Solution to this, disable as many modules as possible. Go in Internet Explorer, press F12, tab css, open drop down list . Check what modules use css files. Then disable the modules that are not in use. Remember, the maximum is 31 files, once you reach 30 files you can be sure all css files are loaded.
