States Not Showing On Some Devices And Browsers

Hello,

 

We are running PrestaShop 1.6.1.3.

 

There is a problem with some Apple phones and tablets where the customer cannot select a State or Province from the dropdown menu when they are entering their address to place an order.  We have tried testing with BrowserStack and cannot narrow it down to any one particular device because they all simulated properly.  Yet, we consistently have customers calling who cannot complete their order. 

 

I have seen other people posting on the forum with a similar problem.  Can anyone give me a solution?

 

If there is not an ultimate FIX for this, can someone please instruct me on how to make the State field not required?  We are a US based business, so on the admin panel, I have to say that the country has States or it won't show them at all.  But is there any way for the customer to proceed with the order, even if the State will not show properly? 

 

This appears to be a big bug with the software and I would really appreciate anyone who has some insight into solving it.  We are using a theme from Template Monster.

You are right. It is a bug, probably, and you should contact Template Monster, because it is about the theme.
