Images Are Not Uploaded

Recommended Posts

I have just installed my Prestashop website, and it seems that I can't upload any image.

I have tried to upload a new image for the header logo, it says "The settings have been successfully updated", but nothing has happened and it keeps the default logo.

I tried to add a new language, filled all the necessary fields, uploaded an image for the language flag, clicked Save, and then it says I haven't uploaded the image and hence cannot add the new language.

Then, I tried to create a new product, and this time when I uploaded its image, I got the error message: blabla.jpg: Missing temporary folder

Any ideas on what might be the problem?

Edit: I have the impression that this means I can't upload any file, but I only tried with images.

Clean smarty cache on tab "advanced paramaeters -> performance" The button on top, right side.

Clean the browser cache keyboard button F5

Log-out and log-in again to your back-office.

This should solve the problem. If not, you should revise writing permissions for folders /img and all subfolders there (0755 should be enough, it is not necessary to set to 0777, but if does not work you can try 07777)

Tried the first part and it didn't work.

Could you please be more specific as to what I need to do in order to revise these writing permissions?

Access your FTP with filezilla and revise the writing permissions, change them to 0777. If you don't know how than please contact your provider for help. He should change the permissions and take a look into the server logfiles, in case this does not solve the problem.
