Allowing Products To Show When Called Directly, Even When Set To Not Active

Hi all,

 

Hope someone knows the answer to this question:

 

In prestashop you can deactivate a product, and when calling this directly it will be redirected to a page saying product not found, as well as it will not show up in product lists etc.

 

I want the product to be visible even when deactivated when it is called directly, e.g. www.test.com/product/35-thisproduct.html

 

But not showing up in a list in categories.

 

I would imagine that the active field in the database controls this in the file product.tpl in the theme ?? Right or way off ??

 

There must be a condition if active=1 then show this or send to not found ?? Somewhere - does someone knows where that is ??
