Where To Correct Bad Code Made By The Home Text Editor Module?

Hello, 

     After looking into the code of the home page and the one created by the home text editor, I have seen that all the especial characters get typed with codes like  á (please see th attached snapshot).

 

 

I tried to change them from the home text editor module and using the source code view, but after I ok the changes (or after saving them) the code goes back to its má state. Where can I make these changes directly and not from the back office where they cannot be made?

Why has prestashop configure the shop to do what it does with these issues?

Does google under rate websites with this kind of code? 

 

I think that this issue can be quite important for google, so please share your knowledge on this if any.

Well you could try editing it from the database table ps_editorial_lang.
