[Solved] Importing Csv File - Doesn't Work

Recommended Posts

You will need to give some more information

1) Your website URL

2) Can you see the products in the back office?

3) A few screen prints showing how yoo are uploading, and the screen after the upload has finished

4) How many products in the CSV file? Try with just one

Dear Ron,

Thank You for your interest in this.

1.my website URL: http://azhome.ro/index.php?  but is nothing there I manually add on test products

2.i can not see the product from teh csv file in the back office only teh one wich I manually added and teh ones wich they came with the template.

3.

4. I try with one and i try with many but the same results , i can see the green check like everything is ok and after that the same screen like in the beggining of the operation.

I instal today the prestashop via softaculous and i can not figure it out, the uploaded csv file are also under teh home/admin/imports, i see them there with file manager but prestashop doesn't see them

The images will not expand for some reason. But the green tick just means you have uploaded the file. You still need to import the data

First of all, on the CSV import page click the "help" icon at the top right hand side. It s very helpfull

Then after you get the green tick scrill down and click "Next step" this will allow you to match the CSV fields to the prestashop fields, then click "import CSV data"

I find a fix to my issue, it was very simple - in the end I contact my web host and I explained them my problem and they fix it - told me that they instaled an inferior version of PHP - whatever that means and now everyhting works perfect, so if doesn't work for you just try contact you webhosting provider in my case that helps!  Good luck to everyone!

PS: thanks Ron
