Hardly Any Response From Developers Here Once Bought.

Feels sad and it is frustrating that once you have purchased their module, they just disapear and dont bother to reply to your queries posted here or sent to them personally thro the support system here.

 

 

I think the admins should look into this.

 

Selling the modules makes sense if there is some sort of post purchase and setting up support.

 

I really dont know whom to complain so posted here.

In the worst case scenario you can always ask PrestaShop to force developer to give you a refund. 

 

Please note, that PrestaShop addons is a marketplace. It means that a lot of developers sell they own stuff. 

I am one of them, I had some bad experience with the clients. 

E.g. client bought plugin on Christmas, wrote a ton of emails to support, wrote bad review and then requested refund. 

We do not work on Christmas. We do not work on Holidays. We do not work on weekends. We have families. 

Different countries has different holidays. We sometimes get sick. 

It is normal not to receive response instantly. 

 

Of course, if you do not get response in a week, it should not be normal.  

 

I understand that you feel frustrated. 

But sometimes we also feel frustrated as we try to do our best job, but people ask impossible things.

I understand what you are saying simon, but i am in touch with the same developer as a different customer wanting to purchase the module and he is busy replying.

 

What do you have to say to that? :D

Well, once I replied to all clients except one. I needed a help from fellow developer to reply to that one customer, but replied, I think 4 hours later...

 

You can always write a bad review of the module. I am not sure if other customers read them, but it really hurts a developer. Of course after a bad review, I do not think that he will want to provide any support for you...

 

I am sorry, some developers are the way they are. 

If you want to find good developers, see who provides help on this forum.
