How To Set Default Shipping Carrier By Ip Address For Non-Logged In Users

Hi,

I'm using Prestashop 1.6.0.14 and my question is how can I get my shop to display the default shipping carrier for the country of the non-logged in user? I have geoloation switched on but can't find anything in shipping that would allow me to detect the ip of the user and then display the correct carrier for them.

Its confusing for customers to see a cheaper shipping price when they are not logged in, depending on where they are located.

I am looking at Shipping > Preferences > Default carrier and there is no IP options?

Can you give any more details about your suggestion?

Any possible solutions? 

I figure it's a rather easy fix in the code somewhere, where instead of using the "default country" setting in the "localization" preferences, you use the country based on IP. 

 

Can anyone help out?
