1.6.10 - Horizontal Menu Default Theme - Stretch Elements To Use Full Width

Hi all!

 

I have 5 menu-elements on the top-horizontal menu. Default theme, 1.6.1.0.

 

I would like to stretch all these elements, so that they align perfectly on the full width of the menu-bar.

See the image attached - I have WOMEN | DRESSES | T-SHIRTS | MENU ITEM 4 | MENU ITEM 5

 

 

I have tried to work something out, but I notice that this menu is put together by 3 different css-files.

 

Any help is appreciated!

Hello

 

Using PS 1.6.0.9 default

 

I just put this code at the bottom of global.css

 

/* Tabs on Horizontal Menu full width */

.sf-menu > li > a {padding: 17px 161px!important;}

 

Just change the 161px to whatever you require

Hi, would this work on Prestashop 1.6.1.1? Also, forgive my ignorance, what do the 17 and 161px signify? I.e. how do you know what you would need to change the 161 to? Thanks!

You can just try, and check your site.

If 161 is too wide, so the menu uses two lines, you just adjust to ex. 150px. If that is too small, try setting it to 155px and so..

DOesnt work on my site. After installation this is the first change I made but there is no difference. Which global.css you are refering to?

Unfortunately it's not working for me (default theme 1.6.1.1) - my menu already extends over 2 lines as I have lots of categories, but thanks for the clarification! If anyone comes up with a solution for 1.6.1.1, please let me know!
