Showing Incl. Vat Prices With Excl. Vat Values

Recommended Posts

Running PrestaShop for several years, having a major problem on product prices showing the excl. VAT value on incl VAT display. Customers give a response that values of products change during the purchase of the order, being more expensive when ordered, as they sign up.

We have just found some proof of the values being calculated and displayed wrongly, saying the adjacent text for being incl. VAT but actual prices being excl. VAT values exaclty. Looks to be related to the caching depending on IP or country ?

URGENT: Becoming a very annoing issue, customers buy for excl. VAT prices as being incl. VAT (missing 21% revenue)
Found some relation to the IP address of which the user originates, can be reproduced through the TOR browser
Please help or advise in this matter

P.S. Also posted as http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCSX-7387

Thanks for responsing HTKVCA.

Those settings are all OK, all on incl. taxes. So the overview should display them all with incl. prices, but it does not all the time!

Sometimes the prices are excl. VAT values but the labels still are incl. VAT, depending on the IP or so (with TOR browser simulated)

hi there,

I'm facing on a similar issue.

I go to customer menu => click Group menu => click edit an item (such as visitor) => change 'Price display method' to 'Tax included' or 'Tax excluded'

but the system doesn't save the update, if I go back into the edit it still show Tax excluded

you should open sub menu named "Tax rules" (i can't remember parent menu), point to the country you would like to set tax. yours is solved

Hi !

Here I have that trouble, but strangly just for 1 country, and part of EEC like us in France. so they should pay incl VAT. And only other countries outside EEC are invoicing without our taxe. And all is running well except for Romania ?? and I don't know why but Romania is taken like a country outside EEC, but they're in.

I can't find why and where to change that wrong info.
