Ridgh
Hello, I don't have too much experience editing files in Prestashop. I wish to change the html editor to one that I am more used to: Open Source ckeditor. I've downloaded it, but I don't know how to "implant" it in Prestashop. Can anyone help me please? Kind Regards, Ridgh
Ridgh
The original HTML editor doesn't work properly. Can someone help me please?
razaro
Hi how it does not work properly? What is wrong? For ckeditor there is one paid module https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/446007-module-ckeditor-ckfinder-for-prestashop-extended-version-80-options-45lang-updated-1812/ and it looks some work is needed. Ridgh
Hi, Thank you for replying This specific editor is not saving the changes I make. I found the CKeditor, full open source on the web, here:http://ckeditor.com/download I assume that it is free - as mentioned on the d/l page. Therefore, I've uploaded it to Public html. From there - I don't know how to continue. I have a new major problem now (without any connection with the editor): I hired a guy for making my site, www.spytechman.com, mobile-responsive. I paid him, and he did it. The site was OK several days ago, but several minutes ago I tried it on my smartphone and got a mess... It hasn't have nothing to do with the editor, but now the site looks OK on PC but not on mobile.
Ridgh
Hi, The "major problem" was only the smartphone cache - so the site www.spytechman.com looks OK. The only problem I have now (as far as my knowledge permits me....) is the editor. Maybe they are other problems too - but I don't see them due to... ignorance. The original editor (I have installed the last version of prestashop), was the lite one. This is a multilanguage site. In English it appeared OK, but any other language it was "cut" - I mean that I could see only a small part of description. I asked the guy to install the larger version, and he did it. The "description" window appears the same, just a small part. I have to click on "horizontal line", and this opens the window. Then, I must click on "source code", and delete </h>, and the horizontal line disappears. After editing, I try to save my work - I see the software doing something at the screen's left bottom - but it doesn't save the changes. Any help will be very appreciate
