Set Cookie For Whole Domain Rather Than Store Subdirectory

Hi,

 

How do you change the config settings so that the cookie is good across a whole domain rather than just the store subdirectory? Including the config file (with standard configuration--no customization) in my header simply sets the store as my home page.

 

My site is running WordPress for all of my site content, installed side-by-side with Prestashop, and I need a way for customers to be able to add an item to a cart without visiting the store first. Every other option I've tried--adding a token to the link, including the files directed in the documentation, including just the config file as is--has failed.
