update all Short description!

is there a way I can update all the Short description, on all my products with out having to go through them one by one, the description will be the same, I looked in the product-list.tpl file but not sure where to add the text if this is the file

There is a mass update module, in firefof you could use the find and replace extension.

another option is via phpadmin, export the product_lang table, open in csv editor, use find & replace and import it back to the phpmyadmin. Careful! If you are not familiar with the phpmyadmin, back up the database before messing with it.
