How To Edit Fields To Registration Page

Hi please can any one help me , how can i edit the form labels like Home Phone and Mobile Phone fields in address registration form in prestashop 1.5.2.0 version . please help me

Hi, edit just to change the text or remove/change?  If you just want to edit the text easiest way would be to simply change the translation for the default language.

i want to change the test Home phone to Mobile so please tell me from where i can do this

Localization->Translations

 

Type of translation: Front office modules

Select your theme: <your theme>

Select your language: <Select the lang>

 

Search for the authentication section, Home phone is in there, change the text.

hi roja i suppose you are not getting what i want, actually i want to change the lable of the registration form i want to change the word " Home Phone" to "Mobile Phone" so just tell me the file which contain source code of this registration form. I dont want to translate any thing.

Hi,

I understand completely what you want to do, what I'm suggesting is that you do it via the translation system and not by editing the template files.

 

You can change the English translation as well, not only additional languages, i.e. take the default English text and change it to your required English text, in this case change Home phone to Mobile phone, and you get the result you wish to achieve.

 

You could edit the authentication.tpl (and the address.tpl as well I expect) but then you should add your new field back into the translation files anyway.
