Most Viewed Products Not Showing Proper On Dashboard

hi.

im using 1.6.1. on dashboard i can see recent orders and best sell products. but on most viewed product tab the results are not the same if i compare to the Google analytics results. now showing proper clicks on the products and add to cart results. even in last 2 days i had 3 orders but that products are not showing in mostviewed products. example jpg is attach.

I'm having a similar problem - the 10 most viewed products are all the same product, each showing with one view.  How do I configure so it adds them together, eg, shows Product One with 10 views, instead of listing Product One 10 times with one view?

this works in 1.6.1.24 (and lower) and 1.7.5

cvb_asturias's code solution, however you may need more than a 400 limit if you want accurate results for a view that encompasses a lot of data like a year view especially if large product catalog i think.
