Product Sorting Issue In 1.6.0.9

Hello, I have got problem with products sorting in categories.

I'm using PRESTASHOP 1.6.0.9

 

When I'm going to category to sort products I can use drag and drop to set correct position of products.

Where I made any change all of products position number is changing for new one, when update is made and I refresh the site, there is only one product position saved  - the one which I was moving. All others are staying with old position nr.

 

It cause many mistakes such duplicated product position nr, wrong sorting position etc.

O this sure is an issue, I don't know if it ever got fixed, had the same problems with Prestashop 1.6.0.14.

 

The thing is that if you change positions while paginating the product's list, and you drag the products' it's number changes as if you were on the first page, and it causes a big mess.

 

The only thing that I was able to figure out was to move the products only when all of them are visi ble on the page.

 

You may be having some duplicate positions right now, so first you need to clean them, use the attached module.

I used Your module but it helps just a little.

 

Still even when I have all products on one page after some drag and drop  changes position numbers are duplicated.

Hope there is possibility to change code a little to save all new positions for all items from category after one drag and drop action.

for me it totally dont' save the new position.

You can try product-sort in Prestools. Don't forget to save after sorting.
