jvicente1971
Hi Guys. I have a website on PS 1.6.1.3 in a domain with the potuguese extension www."mysitedomain".pt I have it transalated in several languages: Portuguese, Brazilian-Portuguese, English, French and Italian. In google webmasters in the international segmentation, the country that google assumes by defaut is Portugal because of the "pt" domain. But this website is mainly for Brazilian segmentation. So I would like that google will point to Brazil country.... I read abou hreflang tags and would appreciate some help in this subject. I inserted some tags in my header.php file just before </head> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="pt-br" href="http://www.mysite.pt/"><link rel="alternate" hreflang="pt-pt" href="http://www.mysite.pt/pt/"><link rel="alternate" hreflang="pt-br" href="http://www.mysite.pt/br/"><link rel="alternate" hreflang="en-gb" href="http://www.mysite.pt/gb/"><link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-fr" href="http://www.mysite.pt/fr/"><link rel="alternate" hreflang="it-it" href="http://www.mysite.pt/it/"> Do you think this will do the job??? Thanks in advande for your help.
