Inserting Image Block?????

i just want to add a image block in the arrowed section betweeen the featured product and slideshow of my home page.
Is there any module to be added or any simple coding logic available for it.

Try to add a tag img (with a new ID) before the first tag div in modules/editorial/editorial.tpl and than add that ID (with your Customizations) in global.css
