Problems in installing themes

I've been searching through this forum as to how to add new themes, read the wiki as well as the installation instructions within the theme zips. I've followed all the instructions, but the themes don't show up in the "appearance" tab. Please do help!

Hello Kyrislian,

So you uploaded the themes in the correct folder ?

http://www.yoursite.com/public_html/themes
Make sure that your theme that you upload is not in a double folder , meaning 1 folder yourtheme with all files in it and not yourtheme and another folder yourtheme and then all files cause if this is the case then the theme will not be seen in Back office.

Also check the option Preferences in BO and scroll down to the bottom and check or uncheck the option prestashop compatible template 1.1 depends what template u use.

Normally nothing more you have to do then this and you can choose in appearance the template you want to install.

Thanks! I figured out the problem; the folders they were in weren't theme/themetoinstall, but theme/theme/thethemetoinstall In the folder with the modules and stuff.
