tdr170
Hi Just started testing 1.6.1.3 and noticed that both USPS and Fedex modules are not listed in the modules list, does anyone know why or what happened to these modules. Thanks
bellini13
Our of curiosity I tried and the modules do not appear for me either. I searched the addons store and I was able to locate the fedex module (although it has not been updated since 04/04/2014 http://addons.prestashop.com/en/shipping-logistics-delivery-prestashop-modules/4164-fedexcarrier.html I cannot locate the usps module on the store, however it is still available on github. It also has not been updated in 2 years https://github.com/PrestaShop/uspscarrier
tdr170
Strange: I pulled both from another install (1.6.0.6) both seem to work fine but you do get the warning (Do you want to install this module that could not be verified by PrestaShop?) This is not good as we just switched host to be able to use the FedEx module (php soap support) for international shipping.
bellini13
the warning is a defect that was fixed in a later release. your prestashop store actually calls 'home' to see if the module is an 'official' module on the addons store, and that was defective in your version. you can ignore the warning, because in reality, I don't care if Prestashop 'believes' the module is 'not official' and therefore not safe. You can make that determination for yourself.
tdr170
I always know where the modules came from and never pay attention the this warning. I see there is now a 1.6.1.4 v so I am done testing 1.6.1.3 and am uploading new.
