Ardshael
I'm in the process of opening a shop for an art gallery but I would like to change the wording of Manufacturers to Artists. It just doesn't sound right to be calling an artist a manufacturer. Which files do I need to edit to make this change. I've fiddled with it a little bit but I haven't had any luck yet. Ardshael
I should clarify this request. I'm not looking for someone to do my work, just point me in the right direction so that I can complete the task. Thanks everyone.
tomerg3
Prestashop has a really great translation system, you can translate any text that's on the site to another language, but, you can also translate to the same language which is basically like renaming (except you don't need to edit any files). In the backoffice go to "Tools -> Translations -> Modify translations"Choose front end or modules (in your case modules) and click on the flag (in your case the same as the default language). Now look for the text you wish to rename (they are sorted by the module they are used in). Ardshael
Wow, I never thought of that. There's always been that english to english translation dictionary joke but hey, this translation actually is useable. I will have to give that a try. Thanks for the tip.
