Modify Phpmail For Smtp Server

My hosting stops sending mail via external SMTP server. I must then integrate the service by using the api by changing the php code.

 

I need to implement an external SMTP using api, thereby altering the function of sending the email. I wanted to ask if someone can tell me how I can change the function of sending an email to implement the following API:

http://serversmtp.com/en/smtp-api

 

Is there anyone who has already implemented this change and can tell me how can I get it?
