Make company mandatory in registration process

Hi,

I would like to make the company field mendatory in the registration process. I changed the themes/prestashop/authentication.tpl

but is is obviously not enough. What else do I need to change?

After modify authentication.tpl and address.tpl in your theme's directory to add the red asterisk to the company field, you need to add 'company' to the $fieldsRequired array in classes/Address.php.

I must have messed this one as I keep makming changes but the red asterix does not appear.

Is this the same with making Home phone numbers and mobile phone numbers mandatory ? or is there a different file to change other than changing the below

i was looking to make mandatory filds and get the * in red

 

i have founded it now, but i came accross this post and just found it unusual.

 

i made somenthing like:

 

_{<colour = red> * <strong>}

 

mind this is not exact code, but i cannot remember from heart. it works now and i have changed all in registration.
