LeoFish
Hello I'm running a prestashop and is currently developing a simple POS system using the webservice. So I've created a prestashop for development, but i discovered a little problem. I'm in denmark, so my currency is kr. On the product "Faded short sleeves T-shirt", the base price is 20,64kr. I've added a coupe of extra specific prices for this product, one of them is a discount of 5,64kr on the Medium blue, so the final price is 15,00kr But when ordering this product the calculation is off. When ordering one item, the cart total is 15kr, two equals 30kr, but when ordering 3 items the total is 44,99kr, not 45,00kr as expected. For every 3 item the calculaiton is 0,01kr off. Can someone explain this and maybe tell me a solution for this problem? I'm currently a bit worried that this error is also to find i my production shop. tuk66
Base prices in PrestaShop are prices tax excl. Check this: 20.64/1.25 = 16.51 (not 16.512) 5.64/1.25 = 4.512 16.51 - 4.512 = 11.998 tax incl. (x 1.25)1x ~ 15 kr 2x ~ 30 kr 3x ~ 44.99 kr
LeoFish
Hi Thank you for the explanation, even though I would have liked the tax beeing calculation from the visual price and not by numbers my customers never see. I will try an keep this in mind, when making discounts in the future. Tomas
