Add Bitcoin As A Currency

How can you auto update the exchange rate for bitcoin?

create a process that obtains the latest rate and updates your currency in the database

I'm a bit of a newbie so can you give me some more details in how to handel this.

 

If I us for example https://blockchain.info/ticker how do i get this to update in the database

well, how about we start with you first describing how you are accepting bitcoin as a 'currency' in Prestashop?

Well now i'm useing https://github.com/vblanch/cryptocurrency_ps_module/tree/master/cryptocurrency this takes care of updating the exhange rate to the database.

 

So that part works but not all prices are updating mainly on the front page if I click on the product the correct bitcoin price is shown.

The strange thing is if I go into live editor all prices are show correct.

I got it working so thanks for your help.

One little thing how can I set the decimal for bitcoin to use 8 decimals and Euro to use the standard 2 decimal?
