Cannot Configure Imap Settings For Incoming Email

hi there

 

i have just changed hosting companies and now when i configure the email settings under customers, customer service, i receive this error message. 

 

Retrying CRAM-MD5 authentication after LOGIN failed., Can not authenticate to IMAP server: [CLOSED] IMAP connection broken (authenticate)

 

 

 

it was all working fine previously, and i have the email settings set up on both  my outlook and iphone so i know that the info entered is correct. 

 

fasthosts (new hosting provider) have said - 

 

The error on the admin panel of the prestashop seems to do with the IMAP server settings which is using the MD5 authentication when it should be Password. I have checked somewhere else on your settings and cannot find it. I can only see the SMTP settings but not the IMAP settings. If you can locate the IMAP settings on your end, can you please provide a screenshot on it so I can check?
 

i cant see any way to do this so any help would be much appreciated!!
