Social Sharing Links On Product List Pages

Hello Everyone,

 

My template has a requirement of adding Social Sharing links of Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest on Product List pages along with Product detail page.

For product detail page, i am using Social Sharing Module, but when i tried to implement the same for list page, it is not able to fetch the product urls to share rendering error.

Can anyone help achieving the requirement using may be the same Social Sharing module with some customizations or may be some other available module.

The Social Sharing module uses only limited set of hooks. You can improve it to add another one at the product list page.

Thanks for quick reply, i have tried for the same thing as you said, but the sharing link is not able to read product names as per the coding in class file for social sharing module.

Can you please suggest to which hook it should be added to link it properly to product list pages?

It is displayProductListFunctionalButtons.

Hello Tuk66,

 

It displays the Social Sharing icons but does not links the products. On click of these buttons nothing happens.
