Orders Created With 0 Products

Hi

At times we seem to get orders creates with no products; however, the overall quantity and shipping costas are correct. Its just that no products are listed (see screenshot).

This seems to happen when the payment processing has not terminated (either on paypal or redsys).

The version I'm running is 1.6.1 (although I will update today in case that is the problem).

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Ward

I have seen the same problem. The payment provider offered two options in its software: make the order before or after the payment has been processed. If you chose after then you got empty orders. However, you could still see what the customer had ordered by looking among the shopping carts. If you chose processing before everything went ok.

The problem in my case was some software that wasn't compatible (too old) with the Prestashop version I was using.

One related problem that I saw was some payment provider software that used Prestashop 1.4 configuration table entries (instead of the ps_shop_url table that is used in PS 1.5 and 1.6) for determining how it should do the callback to finish the order. These entries referred to localhost where I originally had built the shop.

You might want to start with checking whether the callback is made.

i too have seen orders created without products.  In my case, it was caused by a timeout (the order process took too long).  In the end, it was sending an email that took too long and caused the entire order creation to stop mid way.

When this happens to you...

1) Are you getting the order confirmation email?

2) Do you get the order confirmation page?
