klimrod
Hi, I've had a few customerss complain about not being able to pay, so I've tried it myself and it doesn't work for me either. Though I'm still getting orders to I guess some still get through. The error looks like this : b>PayPal response: -> Making new connection to 'api-3t.paypal.com/nvp' Connect with CURL method successful Sending this params: Here all the usual parameters (auth key, address, product etc) Send with CURL method failed ! Error: connect() timed out! Connect failed with fsockopen method Anyone has any idea what's going on ? It's killing my sales quite badly so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks. El Patron
this could be issue where PayPal is 'down'. They have had several incidents in the last few months. I would look at the date/timestamp and contact PayPal to see if they were having issues at this time.
klimrod
Thanks for the very fast answer. It actually seemed to have been going on for about 2 days, which is quite long. El Patron
talking to hosting provider is excellent idea...it may be worth digging around in the 'access' log which typically can be found from your hosting control panel. Let us know what you find out.
klimrod
Kinda like expected my hosting provider tells me it's either on prestashop or paypal's end...
El Patron
depending on level of hosting that is not uncommon response. Fully managed is IMHO worth every penny. did you find the access log?
klimrod
Proplan at Bluehost. Yes I've found it but I really have no clue how to read it, and I prefer to keep my shop's URL confidential (not helping, I know :/).
