The Report Store
There are some great features in the upgrades of the software that make up my store. But I have done so many modifications to the store, it is sure to mess everything up. In any Wordpress site, there is such a thing as parent/child installation. That way you can upgrade the software without touching the modifications. Is there such a thing in Prestashop? And if not, why not?

The Report Store
The new upgrade modifies how the software handles the commission after charging sales taxes. Pretty major upgrade.
El Patron
when you have these sort of questions about modifications and unsure of impact to upgrade then consider hiring experienced help who identify what has been done, what needs to be moved forward and how to do so in a timely fashion. Most often this is also good time for new theme that takes advantage of front office best practices. Please also review the official PrestaShop guide on upgrading best practices. http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Updating+PrestaShop Edited December 20, 2015 by El Patron (see edit history)
