Give Me The Money Back, Addons Prestashop! - Pop Exit Retargeting Onsite Popup Doesn´t Work!

Hello,

 

Two days ago I buyed the module Pop Exit Retargeting onsite Popup (developed by Prestashop).

 

This module doesn´t work and causes a big problem in my site, Front Office turns blank! And I lost many hours to repair my store and many hours without sales!

There is no support for this module, it is shameful. If you want to report a problem for this module from addons prestashop, there is only one option: Go to the Forum.

There is no possibility of write a ticket directly to the developer (prestashop).

 

Do you think it is fair to pay for a module with no customer service?? I don´t want to write my problem in a public forum like I am doing now, I want prestashop solves the problem by a private method (like a ticket system).

 

The chat supports is only to sell, they don´t help you if you have a problem.

 

And finally I send an email directly to addons prestashop, and they ask me for BO and FTP access. I gave it, but they didn´t nothing! Their reply: You need to update the module.

 

Ok, I did it, I updated the module, but it doesn´t work and my Front Office turns blank again!!

 

I contacted them again two more times, but they didn´t reply me...

 

So, I want my money back!!!

Please first "Contact the team" for this particular module through the Addons website. You will get a response: you do not need to enter multiple times.

 

If you want a refund, you need to go to https://addons.prestashop.com/en/contact-us and choose "I have a billing issue".

 

Keep in mind that you won't have a respond in 15 minutes in either case, and please be patient.

Sylvain, your response confuses me, not because it is wrong or invalid direction to provide in normal circumstances, but because the poster has stated that they did exactly this.... multiple times since December 18th... 

 

the result is that the module did not work, and a refund was not granted.

 

I would have expected a different response from you...

I am waiting for a solution of your team since 16th December (a month ago). Your customer service is bad, very bad.

 

I would like that the module works, this is the reason I bought it. But your technical team were not interested in solving the problem. Their only solution was to ask me to update the module. And after that, the module does not work either.

And after that, their only response was: "You have a problem with your prestashop. There is a javascript conflict that make the module not working." I asked them again to know what was the problem exactly, to try to find a solution. And there was no response.

 

My freelance said to me that there isn´t a problem in my prestashop. My shop works perfectly with a lot of modules installed. The problem is that this module doesn´t work.

 

I have to pay my freelance to check this issues, and he could repair this problem in the module. But I have to pay this fix. And why? I paid the module and I have the right that this module works correctly without paying any freelance.

Because of these module I lost the sales of a day, many working hours, the price of the module, the price of my freelance. And I won a big displeasure.

 

Like yoy say, if I choose "I have a billing issue", Addons website only shows the following button: "Go to the Forum". There isn´t any ticket support for the modules developed by prestashop.

So, what can I do? To put open a paypal dispute. And this is that I did. Now, Paypal will decide.

And I also decide not to buy more modules in Addons Prestashop.

You have error in that module

 

 

Uncaught ReferenceError: any_popin is not defined    front.js:29 

 

That file is modules/popexit/views/js/front.js , so try for test to delete line 

 if(any_popin == 0) { return; }

to see if that changes anything.

The problem was really ridiculous :) When I set start date I set 1.1.2016 and when I saved there was start date 15.5.2016 :)

 

Now I have set to 2015 and it works.

I just tested and it works great.
You configured the popup to start at May 1st 2016.

I replied your message, but your technical team hasn´t done anything yet. I'm tired of waiting for a solution, I don´t want to waste more time with you. Your customer service is horrible.

Paypal will decide.

Hello guys,

 

I installed today same module... unfortanety also having problems... version 1.0.9

My problem is more basic...during the configuration step 4 I got a error message 'please select valid dates'.

The module itself filled in the dates automatically in the format 27.01.2016.

I've tried also with paste and copy with 27/01/2016 and 27-01-2016...not working. Error message is persistant...

Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue, I've sent like 4 emails reporting the same problem and I'm still waiting for an answer since 2 weeks ago. The module isn't working and the dates are correct. 

 

I'll do a paypal refund, because this is a shame.

Paypal denied me the refund, I can´t believe it...

 

Module doesn´t works, i wasted my money, my time and my patience.

 

But don´t worry, PRESTASHOP, I won´t spend more money in your addons. I won´t recommend you to anyone, never. I think you will lost much more than the reparation or the refund of these module.

 

Good luck partners, I hope you have more luck than me with these shame called Prestashop SA.
