hbamberger
Nobody had an idea in the German forum, so I try here. I attach a screenshot that shows the phenomenon. If a guest tries to check out, the authentication form does not accept the 5-digit zip code. There is a red X and red letters. If you try to proceed, there is o problem, though. Additionally, there is a mandatory field for a tax number (as if it was B2B, which it's not). If you leave it blank, you can proceed anyway. Both phenomenons have been described here in the forum, but in my case, I have them both at the same time, and ONLY in the Midori browser. Firefox, Windows10 Explorer, Opera, Chrome - they all work fine. So my question is mainly, if anybody can think about a reason for this. Of course - if this happens to a customer, he will for sure leave the shop and not place the order. If I saw this red X, I would try to enter the zip code 3 times, and then give up. Any ideas? Here's the screenshot, I guess you will all understand this little German:
hbamberger
Really no idea? Nobody? Has anybody tried to reproduce it? For me this is kind of a scary issue. As long as I don't know what causes it, I fear it may occur more often than we all believe it will. There must be a reason for this, probably somewhere in the code.
