adding application page for category

I need a way to add application page for each category without cart and pricing. I like to add images, information and attachment. Any way I can disable cart and pricing .
Our web site is www.Melvinautomation.com a industrial product store. Each category needs application notes and selection guide.

Any help or suggestion?
Does version 1.3 has this feature to create information pages for each subcategory?
