Remember Shopper's preferred number of items to display per page

Hiya,

I note some posts regarding the select box controlling the number of items displaying on the product page asking how to remove the GO button.

1) My question relates to this select box, but I was wondering if there was a simple way to make Prestashop 'remember' the shopper's last selection and retain it - so that when they travel between pages or return to the site, the number of items displayed remains on what they last selected, rather than reverting to the default...

2) Would this depend on the user being logged in?

You'd need to store the number of items per page in the customer's cookie. I'm not sure whether it would work if the customer wasn't logged in though. You'd have to try it to find out.

Sorry for the late reply - I didn't notice the notification email... Thanks for that Rocky, I thought it might be related to Cookies - wouldn't too sure about how to go about that though.
