Reconnect old database

When trying other database, now I cannot make the connection to my previous database getting this error "Link to database cannot be established.". Can you please help me here please?

Hi,

One of these parameters must be wrong : host, login or password.
If the host is probably localhost, I can't guess your login and password.

Just a thought,

Are the settings correct in the settings.ini.php

as in the path for the database: eg: / instead of /store/

also is the prefix for your database correct, in the same file.

You don't need a path, just the database host, databse name and password.

When you moved host did you use phpmyadmin (or a control panel tool) to backup the database? Have you created a new database and imported the data from the old one into it?
