If someone can explain to me, I would really appreciate it.Also I was reading my runtime info under phpmyadmin and it indicated that I'm having problems with indexing. I wonder if I click on "re-build your index" under" Indexation" under Preferences>>Search Section , would that help speed up my queries? My site is running slow because of this since I have over 20,000 items for sale each with unique "features".Hope to get an answer soon :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rocky Posted March 26, 2010 Share Posted March 26, 2010 No, going to Preferences > Search and rebuilding your index will not speed up your search results. It will only ensure that every product is indexed using the most up-to-date information.The weights are used to choose the sort order of search results.
