Google Apps Account Not Working On Prestashop To Send Emails

Hello,

We have an issue when sending emails through Prestashop. A few weeks ago it was working perfectly, but it is no longer working. We are using a Google Apps mail account to send the emails with the advanced SMTP parameters options checked. This are our parameters:

Donain name: [blank]
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP user: [our mail address]
SMTP password: [our password (we are sure it is correct)]
Encryption: SSL
Port: 465

But we are getting this error: Authentication failed using username '[our mail address]' and password '*************'

We can log in with no problem to gmail with this email and password.

As I said, we were sending mails with this configuration a few weeks ago.

Do you know what the problem might be?

 

Our Prestashop version is 1.6.1.2

The problem was the Google Apps configuration, you need to enable Less secure Apps to access accounts:
