Managing Prestashop Modules Updates Inside A Git Repo

Hi there,

 

I have a prestashop ecommerce website, using several modules.

 

I work localy with a local LAMP serveur, and I use github to manage my devs.

When I add a new module, I have to add it in my local repo, activate it in my local PS backoffice, then push that to my master branch, and then very often, I need to activate again the module in my production.

 

This is not goot. 

 

What is worse is when I update a module. If I update localy, and then push to the master branch, everything seems to work ok in the backoffice, but sometimes updated modules add database entries, that will be missing on the production site. But how would I know ?

 

 

Do you guys have any workflow to manage this king of problems ?
