Multistore [Share Orders, Customers Etc]

Hello everyone,

 

I have been using PS for a while now and i would like to test the multistore feature. Seems like its not possible to share orders or customers within a store group if there is already a customer or an order created in one of the stores. 

 

The only way i see it happening since its not supported by default, would be to setup a clean install.

Is there anyway around this?

 

Is anyone using currently using Multistore? Any bugs mentioned?

 

Is the webservice working ok? The stock managment? Having different domain for the stores? 

 

Is the feature stable to work on production?

Copying from another thread:

 

1) write down your existing shop id

2)  set id_shop to null in the  ps_customer and ps_orders   tables

3) now you can change your shop-group setting to share customers and orders

4) set the old shop_id value for the ps_customer and ps_orders table
